Welcome to the 64th issue of the Arab Atheists Magazine. Our opening is with an article by Dr. Aziz Alqenaei titled “Humanism is a Goal to be Achieved and not A Religion”, we then start the first part of the 6th installment of Moussa Eightyzz’ “Deconstructing the Myth of the Religion of Modesty”, and this time he talks about the religion of debauchery. This will be followed by the third and last in a series of articles on human psychology by Colin M Wilson, the title this time is “The Cave’s Three Pillars”. In the documentation section this time we talk about two events that the Tunisian Society of Freethinkers underwent during March, a physical assault on its leader Hatem Limam and a prestigious award they received as Atheists of the Year. The feature article this time is by Matthew Thomas titled “Illuminating Voices in the Dark” based on his Masters degree research conducted on Arab atheists Facebook groups. This month, Shadi Slimi reviews Fernando Pessoa’s “Livro do Desassossego” (The Book of Disquiet), then Usama al-Binni recalls the life and works of Stephen Hawking in a eulogizing article. And finally as we end usual with a new installment of the Arabic translation of Charlie Hebdo’s “La vie de Mahomet” and follow that by a cartoon by Moussa Eightyzz.
